sunlanders survey

A survey of SunLanders done through our Forum24 research vehicle found that two out of three people don’t have a Will, believing it is unnecessary as they don’t have worldly possessions to leave. While you might not, what little you do have will be tied up for years with the state and it doesn’t take into account what will happen to your children if you have any.

Also, our survey found that when it comes to family funerals the two things that cause the most disagreements are who will pay for it and who will be in charge of the arrangements. Of those surveyed two-thirds said that who pays causes discord, so it is a good idea to have this element of your funeral thought through.

Also, eight out of ten SunLanders surveyed said that it is important to them that the casket that is chosen for them to make their final journey isn’t too expensive. One of the main considerations of all those surveyed is that their family don’t end up spending a lot of money on their send off that might be better used for other expenses.

Ensuring you have a plan in place for your family to give you a dignified send off that doesn’t cost them their future, can be a valuable legacy to leave behind.
